Berdasarkan hasil riset yang dilakukan Global Entrepreneurship Monitor, wirausaha wanita mencapai 14 persen dari total populasi.<\/p>\n<p>Dengan nilai 14 persen, artinya ada 14 dari 100 orang yang membuka wirausaha baru hingga usahanya berumur 3,5 tahun pada 2016. Perempuan dinilai lebih berani membuka usaha baru dibanding lelaki.<\/p>\n<div class=\"teads-adCall\">&nbsp;Ketua GEM Indonesia periode 2013-2016 Catharina B. Nawangpalupi mengatakan survei kewirausahaan baru tersebut sudah berjalan empat tahun di Indonesia. \u201cHasilnya menunjukkan bahwa perempuan Indonesia lebih berani mengambil risiko untuk memulai usaha baru,\u201d katanya dalam keterangan tertulis, Rabu, 8 Februari 2017.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<p>Dalam pertemuan tahunan Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) yang berlangsung pada 5-8 Februari 2017 di Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, organisasi tersebut melaporkan hasil studi terbarunya bahwa kewirausahaan secara global meningkat.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div id=\"inarticle\" data-google-query-id=\"CM2B8JWKm-MCFRQjaAodR3AFrA\">\n<div id=\"google_ads_iframe_\/14056285\/tempo.co\/desktop_bisnis_inarticle_0__container__\"><iframe id=\"google_ads_iframe_\/14056285\/tempo.co\/desktop_bisnis_inarticle_0\" title=\"3rd party ad content\" name=\"google_ads_iframe_\/14056285\/tempo.co\/desktop_bisnis_inarticle_0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" data-google-container-id=\"1\" data-load-complete=\"true\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe>Dalam penelitian GEM, terdapat indikator TEA (Total Early-stage Entrepreneurial Activity) yang bersifat stabil dari tahun ke tahun. Indikator itu mengukur persentase penduduk berusia 18-64 tahun yang merintis usaha baru dalam kurun waktu 3,5 tahun.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Nilai 14 persen yang diraih membuat Indonesia berada di peringkat 20 dari 65 negara. Jumlah perempuan juga diketahui lebih banyak dibanding lelaki untuk membuka usaha baru. Angka rasionya 1,24 atau lima orang perempuan berbanding empat orang lelaki.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Berdasarkan data survei 2013-2016, kata Catharina, kalangan lelaki dewasa di Indonesia merasa mempunyai kesempatan dan kemampuan berwirausaha yang lebih tinggi daripada yang dirasakan perempuan. \u201cNamun jumlah perempuan yang memulai usaha lebih banyak daripada lelaki,\u201d ujarnya.<\/p>\n<p>Hasil survei itu, menurut Catharina, menunjukkan pentingnya dukungan ekosistem bagi wirausaha perempuan.
